Description: Interpretive Hike – 2 hours
Over two hundred species of birds have been recorded at Camp Mabry, which is an under-birded urban oasis. We will check out the ponds for ducks, grebes, egrets and herons, and the shaded trail across the creek for songbirds. Expect to walk about ¾ to 1 mile round trip.
The trip is limited to 15 participants, and registration is required. Please note that adults must have a valid photo ID. More details will be provided to registrants about a week before the field trip.
